Meet Denton County's dynamic Democratic Party Chair on August 7

DCDP has a strong, well-organized leadership team that is already working on the 2026 elections. Delia will talk about this effort on August 7.

In 2024, when Democrats in the rest of Texas’ big counties — even those with Democratic majorities — lost vote share, Denton Democrats INCREASED OUR VOTE SHARE. 

With your support, we can do it again! Here’s why having a robust local party is important:

The DCDP 

• Recruits candidates — this is going on right now for 2026. 

• Helps them fundraise. Most local Democratic candidates are new to politics and don’t have a built-in donor base.

• Turns out the vote for them.  DCDP recruits more than a thousand volunteers to make phone calls, knock on doors, send emails and texts that get voters to the polls for all Democratic candidates.
